Unique to Fisheries and Oceans Canada and the Canadian Coast Guard, this National Talent Bank provides you with an opportunity to highlight your skills, experiences and interests without applying to a specific job.  As one of the most diverse organizations in the Public Service, we hire individuals from a variety of educational backgrounds and specializations.

Once you have completed your talent profile, your name will be placed in an inventory, which can be accessed by hiring managers looking to fill a variety of positions across Canada in the following fields: seagoing positions, engineering, engineering technology, general labour, information technology, procurement, human resources, administration, communications, science, geography, policy, and many many more!

As this is an evergreen inventory, there is no deadline to apply. As opportunities become available throughout the department, the inventory will be consulted by hiring managers to assess candidates further (i.e. exam, interview, references, job samples, etc.). It can be for temporary or permanent positions.  We encourage you to complete your talent profile as early as possible!
